What kind of shirt is it
A unisex organic cotton tee, 180 g per m², ring-spun and combed. The base shirt brand is Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0. It's a regular fit, not fitted, not baggy. For most people, your normal size will fit.
The print is DTG (direct-to-garment) by a German fulfillment partner. This is the same technique used by Etsy and small brands in Europe. The ink is in the fabric, not on top, so it won't crack or peel and can be machine washed.
What sizes are available
XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL for most designs. Not all designs are available in every size and every color. You can see what's available on the product page.
How do I wash it
- Inside out at 30 degrees
- Do not tumble dry
- No bleach
- Ironing inside out is possible, but not on the print
If you follow these instructions, the print will last at least 50 washes.
Where do the jokes come from
Short version: every week we choose from a large pool of jokes that work on social media what is suitable for the Dutch audience, and adapt it to our tone. It's not a translation, it's a transcreation. Some things that work in America don't work here. Some things that work here, an American wouldn't understand.

Is that language allowed
Yes, as long as it stays within our house rules: nothing aimed at an entire group of people to insult that group, no hate speech, no calls for violence, no explicitly sexual images on shirts. Vulgar, ambiguous, straight to the point: that is allowed, and is a feature.
When do you have new designs
Every month a drop of about 10 new designs. Sometimes more often if something goes viral that we want to jump on immediately.
How do I pay
iDEAL, Klarna (post-payment), Bancontact, credit card. All via Stripe. No PayPal for now.
Do I get an invoice
Yes, automatically by email after the order. Until we are registered with the Chamber of Commerce, there will be no VAT.
Shipping outside the EU
Not for now. We focus on NL/BE/DE/FR and are stuck with what the German printer standardly does within the EU.
My design is crooked or the letters are blurry in the photo
The mockup photos you see on the site are rendered, not real photos of a printed shirt. If your shirt arrives and the print is incorrect (really crooked, blurry, or a different color than in the photo), please email a photo to hallo@bokkig.nl and we will send a new shirt free of charge.
